Am vergangene
Wochenende hatten wir einen Stand auf dem“ Food Market“ in der
Hamburger Großmarkthalle.
Last
weekend we presented our cakes at the Hamburg Food Market fair, held
in the halls of Hamburg's wholesale market.
Die Veranstaltung
ist einmal im Jahr und eine Kooperation von der Zeitschrift
„Feinschmecker“ und dem Hamburger Großmarkt. Gezeigt wird alles
rund um den Genuss – von der Region, für die Region.
Once a year
„Feinschmecker“ magazine and Hamburg Wholesale Market cooperate
and for 2 days the market turns into a fair with over 100 stand
holders, presenting culinary fine food.
Ein paar Fotos
habe ich auch für Euch gemacht, da es wirklich ein ganz besonders
nettes Ambiente ist. Für Schlemmermäulchen gibt es ganz viel zu
entdecken und man kann probieren, kaufen oder einfach nur schauen.
To
give you a small insight view, I took some pics to show you the
special atmosphere. It's a feast for all the senses and if you love
good food, it's like a small paradise
Die Stände
befinden sich in den Gängen der Halle, so dass die eigentlichen
Großmarktstände dahinter liegen (die Bilder habe ich vor
der Eröffnung gemacht – also nicht wundern, dass so wenig
Besucher zu sehen sind).
The
booths are in the corridors, between the normal stalls (I took the
pics before the opening – so don be irritated, that there are
nearly no visitors ;))
Aber es gibt
nicht nur Obst- und Gemüsestände, auch Floristen zeigen ihr Können.
But
beside fruits and vegetables, florists present their designs as well
(really love this booth)
Kleine
Manufakturen für feine Leckereien bieten ihre Waren an, wie z.B.
unser Standnachbar mit einer großen Auswahl an Frischkäse

manufacturers with special treats can be found, like our neighbour,
who sold a wide range of different cream cheese
Auch sind 20
Restaurants aus dem Großraum Hamburg mit am Start und bieten kleine
Snacks, wie hier z.B. Chefkoch Thomas Sample vom „Vlet“

only vendors are invited, 20 restaurants from around Hamburg offer
small servings, like chef Thomas Sample of „Vlet“ - so you can
walk around, try some food, buy little delicatessen or have a glass
of wine. Doesn't that sound good?
Da sich
Hochzeitstorten & Co. schlecht spontan verkaufen lassen,
präsentieren wir nur Torten- Dummies und zeigen auch, wie man mit
Fondant arbeitet.
Selling
wedding cakes on a fair isn't really possible, so we only present
dummy cakes and demonstrate what you can do with sugar paste.
Trotz
hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit sind dabei auch diese lustigen Gesellen
entstanden.
Although
the humidity was really high this weekend, we created this little
fellows.
Zwar sind wir
immer noch recht geschafft, aber die 2 Tage sind immer ein echter
Spaß und wir freuen uns schon auf den 7. Food Market in 2012.
We are still a little bit
wiped out, but it was again a big fun weekend and of course we will
be at the 7. Food Market in 2012
